Our home, Varberg, has over 200 years of spa culture, of which seaweed bathing is a fundamental practice. We have adopted this wealth of tradition and applied it to our contemporary range of skincare treatments. Sustainably sourced seaweed and algae are the key active ingredients in a number of our current formulations, and we are currently exploring new applications for them in our future products.
Bo Albrektsson, who’s family have gathered seaweed along the west coast for generations, is L:a Bruket’s Head Seaweed Harvester. Our friend and filmmaker, Luke Casey, spent an afternoon with Bo to capture a glimpse of this traditional practice.
